Annual K10 Apprentice Awards

awards

Here at K10, we like to ensure that our apprentice’s hard work and dedication to their apprenticeships does not go unnoticed. By way of appreciation, we run our annual K10 Apprenticeship Awards.

We would like to congratulate all of the winners of the Apprenticeship Awards for 2016 and to thank them for their commitment, which has been recognised with these awards.
We would also like to take this opportunity to thank the industry partners who have supported these achievements including Fairview New Homes, Menta Redrow, Hill Partnerships, Bellway, Crest Nicholson and Wates Living Space just to name a few.

‘K10 have helped me so much, from getting this apprenticeship in Business Administration, to assisting me along the way to where I am now. I think this award goes down to  hard work, dedication and time keeping as well as impressing the managers by doing my job to the best of my ability’ – Elijah

‘Elijah has shown diligence, aptitude and a willingness to learn. He is a great member of our team’ – Michael Nevins, Site Manager

2. BEST 2ND YEAR APPRENTICE – AQIB MANSURI – LEVEL 3 ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION / MENTA REDROW / PRO-ELEC / MORELLO SITE

‘Aqib is a very capable young man, and if he puts his mind to it, he will go very far in this industry. Well done Aqib, may your achievements continue for you to reap the  rewards’ – Darren Phipps, Site Manager, Pro-Elec.

4. BEST COLLEGE PERFORMER – ALFRED SEIVWRIGHT – LEVEL 2 INTERIOR SYSTEMS / BELLWAY / TCL / BARKING RIVERSIDE

alfred ‘I’m really happy to win this award, thanks to K10, Bellway, TCL and Flower Skills for their help. All the lessons at college enabled me to apply my skills at my last site, the    Walthamstow Dog Track and here at Barking Riverside. I try to put effort into all elements of my apprenticeship as every day gone by without trying is a day wasted’ – Alfred

‘He’s fitted in well with the team and he shows a lot of enthusiasm, he is a conscientious worker and is always eager to keep on learning. Bellway are keen to promote  apprenticeships and we wish Alfred all the best with the rest of his course.’ – Stewart Finn, Senior Site Manager, Bellway.

5. BEST COMPLETING APPRENTICE – JABARI BROWN / CREST NICHOLSON / BRANDON HOUSE

jabari

‘If I didn’t work for K10 I wouldn’t be where I am now. They have a great team and I would recommend anyone who wants to do an apprenticeship to join the K10  programme. Within the space of a year, I went from doing Level 2 Dry Lining to Construction Management which shows anything is possible’ – Jabari

‘The best way to sum up the importance of Jabari is a quote from Napoleon Hill, “If you can’t do great things, do small things in a great way.” Jabari understands that even  the smallest contributions can make the biggest difference in a team, and that is what Jabari is. A true team player’ – Ethan Deal, Site Manager

‘Lisa is a valued member of my team, she is hard working and conscientious, taking on tasks and completing them on time and to a good standard with very little input from myself. I would  like to take this opportunity to congratulate Lisa on this award and hope she keeps up the good work’ – Colin Young
