The Level 6 NVQ Diploma in construction site management is designed to help showcase managerial traits in people already in employment on site. It is designed to showcase competence on the job, and allow candidates to affirm their knowledge in compliance with industry regulations.
Why is it important?
Following updates to Construction Design Management Regulations, it is vital that all people working on site, from workers right up to supervisors and managers, are able to prove their industry skills on site in order to comply with legal requirements. NVQs are a renowned, industry-recognised way of proving the skills a person possesses with regards to job knowledge; giving them a platform to showcase their competence on site and develop the skill of labourers and construction professionals.

Do you need any prior qualifications?

The assessment strategy for Level 6 NVQs enables our assessors to utilise all available evidence in order to recognise the skills and knowledge of a candidate. This can include gathering current evidence from a job role, or recognition of prior learning, amongst other things. Our assessors are experts at creating assessment plans that fit around your day-to-day role, allowing you to successfully complete your NVQ assessment with the least possible disruption.
Where Do I Go?
All NVQ’s are carried out on site but an initial assessment at your place of work is required to see if you meet the requirements or can demonstrate your experience.

Successful completion of this Level 6 NVQ ensures that a candidate is fully compliant with updated CDM Regulations, and is aware of their role within the building and construction industry.
Once you have completed this assessment you can apply for a Black CSCS card, as well as moving on to higher level NVQ assessments in the built environment and construction fields. There is also the option to progress onto further occupational assessments, including management and team leading, if a candidate desires.
